22 Kirkjufell Mountain

I can tell you right away that Iceland blew my mind. All of Iceland. So I badly wanted to pick a certain place from this outstanding country and present it to you, but I almost had to throw the dice to choose one because they were ALL amazing. Here you can see Kirkjufell Mountain - one of the landmarks of Iceland. Its slightly tilted shape and the waterfalls in the foreground make it look almost surreal, as if it was a photoshopped scene. Kirkjufell Mountain takes its name from its resemblance to a church steeple, sharpened at the top with long curved sides. Climbing the mountain though is quite dangerous and takes an experienced climber or an expert guide.
